We have been featured in a publication for the first time! As a sponsor and supporter of STROLL Woods and Park, a local magazine, we had the chance to write a business sponsor piece to introduce ourselves to the community and tell everyone a little bit about what we do. The changeover from ouroborosmassage.com to ouroborostherapeuticarts.com has finally - and successfully - been done!
The old URL still exists, as many people may have that address saved/bookmarked. It should now automatically forward to the new URL. Currently the only issue seems to be that Google search results haven't yet updated, but I have already brought the change to Google's attention and hopefully the updates will occur shortly. As Covid-19 transmission numbers continue to decline, we have decided to make adjustments to our mask policy:
With the mask mandate in Erie County having recently been lifted, it is now up to each individual business to decide whether or not they will require that patrons continue wearing masks. As the practice is run out of my home, I ask that all clients continue to wear masks for all appointments to keep everyone safe, and as someone who has had Covid twice now, I would like to avoid getting it a third time so that I can stay open to continue to help heal my clients, so please help me do just that! I will be keeping an eye on the numbers, and as long as the infection rate stays down then I will be revisiting the mask policy in the future.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Attention all clients and potential clients:
As COVID-19 infection rates are increasing again, I am re-implementing the mask policy. All clients, regardless of vaccination status, must be wearing a mask during their session. You will be allowed to remove the mask while face down on the table, but the mask must be properly in place for all other parts of your appointment. Please see the updated COVID-19 procedures if you have any questions. Thank you for your cooperation, and I look forward to serving you soon. As some time has passed since New York State reached the proper benchmark for vaccination and lifted restrictions, I have decided that it is safe enough to also do so for my practice:
Please visit the Covid-19 page to read the fully updated procedures. It's June, which means 10% off ALL SESSIONS for the entire month! Why? Because June is my birthday month, so I have decided that all of my clients deserve presents. There is also *no limit* to the number of sessions an individual can book, so make sure to book your appointments sooner rather than later to get your desired time slots!
See you soon! (Discount is not applicable to packages, which are already offered at a discounted rate.) Dear clients,
It both saddens and frustrates me to announce yet another temporary closure for 2021. On Wednesday, 3/25, right after I had reopened from spraining my right ankle and had begun seeing clients again, my left ankle collapsed under me while I was descending a flight of stairs resulting in another sprain. I am currently trying to heal and rehab two sprained ankles, and I cannot at the moment stand or walk without pain meaning I cannot massage. To heal properly and avoid further injury, and also due to having a week-long seminar on the books, it is very possible that I may be closed for the entirety of April; I will, of course, keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as I am able to reopen and be working on you all again. I am hoping that I will be back up and running sooner rather than later. For the time being, if you are in need of a massage while I am out of commission I highly recommend my colleagues: •Robin Weiss, Forget Me Not Wellness (Amherst) •Arlynn Knauff, Mind and Matter Well Being (Amherst) •Phil Wackerfuss, The Body Essential (Williamsville) •Laura Floss-Wilson, B Well Massage and Esthetics (Williamsville) •Cailey Martin, Purely Connected (Kenmore) These are just a few of my wonderful friends and colleagues, and if you are searching for an interim therapist in a different area I can potentially find someone else for you as well. I am so sorry to have to be closing yet again. I’m not sure what’s up with 2021 for me, but I am hoping I got all the bad luck/accidents out of the way in the first quarter so that I can get back to doing what I love - helping you on your healing journeys. In love and health, -Kristina N. Murray, LMT As many of my clients know, I was down and out with Covid in the middle and end of February. To celebrate my recovery last week, I accidentally tripped down my stairs resulting in a badly sprained right ankle. I am currently in a boot per the ortho's orders with a follow-up appointment scheduled for next week Thursday. As I cannot currently put weight on my foot at the moment, I unfortunately cannot work properly right now.
For anyone looking for a massage right away, I recommend my wonderful friends and colleagues to take care of you while I am recovering:
I will hopefully be out of the boot, healed up, and back to work soon, as I haven't been able to serve my clients since before I contracted Covid; I miss you all a ton! GENERAL BUSINESS UPDATE - I have been taking this time off to reflect on both personal and business matters, and I have decided to remove the Holistic Wellness Coaching offerings from my services for the time being. I have realized that, while I am passionate about health and wellness as a whole and want to do everything I can to help my clients heal, my true passion lies in bodywork (myofascial release specifically), and I was spreading myself too thin and trying to do too much. I do have a network of health professionals if you are in need of a service I do not offer, and will do my best to refer you to someone who can assist you with your particular needs. |
