Kristina's dream is the mission statement of her practice: to change the world one person at a time through holistic healing and health.
A Witch and Priestess, Kristina was born and raised just outside of Buffalo, NY, and graduated from Clarence High School in 2006. It was during her high school years that she developed an interest in massage therapy but instead decided to explore more conventional channels upon high school graduation. She attended the University of Buffalo for three years of undergrad before taking a year off to reflect on where she wanted to go in life, and in the fall of 2010 she transferred to Buffalo State College, where she studied for and attained a B.S. in Fashion and Textile Technology with a concentration in Apparel Design, graduating magna cum laude in the spring of 2013.
An energy worker for the past 20 years, Kristina is practiced in various healing methods including receiving attunements in Usui Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, and Shamanic Reiki. She has experience with various energy healing techniques using both hands-on and hands-off methods, as well as in-person, distance, and sound healing modalities. The love of massage never left her, however, and in 2015 she decided to finally pursue massage as a career at the New York Institute of Massage. It was there that she learned many different massage techniques and modalities to aid her in her path as an Agent of Healing. She graduated in July of 2017 and attained her license shortly thereafter. Her private practice, Ouroboros Therapeutic Arts, naturally grew out of her passion for helping others, and in June of 2019 she took the big plunge, leaving her part-time job at a chiropractor's office where she performed medical massage on her patients and became her own boss full-time. It is her hope that she can help as many people as possible on their own journeys to true health using a combination of integrative massage therapy modalities, the John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach®, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, energy healing, and empowerment through education.
When she isn't working on clients or teaching workshops, Kristina is serving the community in other ways: she teaches, hosts, and co-hosts monthly witchcraft and spiritual events, such as Full Moon Magick nights and Sabbat celebrations at Rising Goddess. She also organizes and puts on a New Moon Death Cafe that travels around WNY to support local businesses and The Order of the Good Death while simultaneously engaging the community in conversations around death, dying, end of life, and how we can all best prepare ourselves and our loved ones and make sure our wishes are known and honored in the best ways possible. She enjoys many exciting - and sometimes dangerous - hobbies, including aerial arts, fire spinning, rock climbing, and hiking. She has two beautiful and friendly furry children, Monty and Nox, and one fur-child in spirit, Shay.
